The restructuring plan begun in 2003 has provided, as well for recovery in a language of contemporary architectural quality-of decorative liberty, to achieve an aquarium technologically advanced, in line with international institutes, offering the public an environment exhibition and current educational and functional, accessible to users with disabilities.
The ground floor of Aquarius was entirely devoted to the public with classrooms for activities with schools, salt to house temporary exhibitions and an exhibition renewed aesthetically through games of volumes, together with the possibility to observe directly the bodies of some tanks with the water level low, without the interposition of glass.
